Forge Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Forge is made by Prix Labs. This policy explains what happens to your information in the Forge app, which is almost nothing.
The short version
Forge has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not collect your personal information, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data with anyone. The one thing that leaves your device is a record of your purchase, and only if you buy the unlock. That is described under Purchases below.
What stays on your device
Your topic selections, theme, font, notification settings and saved lines are stored on your device.
On iPhone and iPad, if you have iCloud enabled they are also mirrored to your own iCloud account so they survive getting a new phone. That data goes to Apple under your Apple ID and your iCloud terms. On Android they are included in your device backup if you have one enabled, which goes to your own Google account. In both cases it never reaches Prix Labs, and we cannot read it.
You can delete all of it at any time by deleting the app.
Notifications
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent through a server and no push tokens are created, so there is no delivery record anywhere.
Purchases
If you buy the paid unlock, the transaction is handled by the app store you bought from, Apple or Google Play, and by RevenueCat, our purchase infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your installation and the details of the purchase itself, which product, when, and whether it is still active, so the app can tell whether you have paid, including after you reinstall or change phones.
RevenueCat does not receive your name, your email address, or anything you do inside the app. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. The handling of your payment is covered by Apple's or Google's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
This website
Everything above is about the Forge app. This website is separate and does use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. That is standard web analytics run by Google, it is not connected to the app, and nothing the app knows is ever sent to it. If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker or your browser's do-not-track setting will stop it.
Children
Forge is not directed at children under 13, and asks nobody for personal information, including children. The only thing it ever sends off the device is the purchase record described above, and only if you buy the unlock.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
