Built for one campus at a time
Your college, not the whole city
Rides are scoped to your campus, so the people you are coordinating with are the people you already share a college with. That is the whole reason it works.
See it on a map
Every ride is a pin. Green for a seat going spare, amber for someone who needs one. Tap it and the trip opens straight away, without a search form in between.
No group chat to mute
Messaging is in the app, tied to the specific ride. Nobody has to join a class WhatsApp group and then leave it again once term ends.
Both sides have to agree
A ride is only confirmed when the driver and the rider have each said yes. Phone numbers appear at that point and not before, so nothing is shared with someone who has not committed.

The parts you notice on the second day
Starts in the next
Filter to rides starting in the next 15 minutes, half hour, hour, or six hours. Rides that start soon are the only ones that matter when you need one now.
Sort by distance
Order by when a ride was posted, or by how close its pickup is to you.
Active rides
Confirmed rides sit at the top of the list until two hours after they start, with directions to the pickup and the destination for whoever is driving.
Leaving properly
Deleting your account wipes your data rather than hiding it. Old messages show a deleted user instead of your name.

Free, and it stays free.
There is nothing to buy. Signing in takes a phone number and a college, which is what keeps rides limited to people from your own campus rather than anyone who downloads the app.
